3. Nature of Our Services
3.1 DanielTems provides a full-service concierge and tradesperson coordination service. We find, vet, and manage the right tradesperson for your job, coordinate everything from start to finish, and ensure the work is carried out to a satisfactory standard. We take full responsibility for the coordination and delivery of each job we accept.
3.2 All tradespeople engaged through DanielTems are independent professionals who are carefully vetted and approved by us. While they are not employees of DanielTems, they operate under our coordination and service standards for each job we manage.
3.3 DanielTems takes full responsibility for the coordination and management of each job from start to finish. We take reasonable care to ensure that all work is carried out to a satisfactory standard and will act promptly to resolve any issues brought to our attention. However, liability for physical damage or personal injury arising during the execution of the work rests with the relevant tradesperson and their insurer. In such cases, DanielTems will actively support the client in resolving the issue through the appropriate channels and will not leave the client to manage this process alone.
3.4 We provide quotes on behalf of our network of tradespeople. A quote is not binding until you have explicitly accepted it and the Tradesperson has confirmed availability.
4. Service Requests and Quotes
4.1 To request a service, you may contact us by telephone or WhatsApp. You will be asked to describe the job in sufficient detail to allow us to identify the right tradesperson and provide an accurate quote.
4.2 We will endeavour to provide a quote within 15 minutes of receiving a service request during normal operating hours. Quote timescales may vary for complex or specialist jobs.
4.3 All quotes are indicative and subject to the Tradesperson's assessment of the job on-site. If the scope of work changes, the price may be revised. You will be informed of any change before additional work is carried out.
4.4 There is no charge or obligation for receiving a quote. You only commit to a payment when you accept a quote and the job proceeds.
4.5 DanielTems reserves the right to decline any service request at our discretion without being required to provide a reason.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment terms will be communicated to you at the time of accepting a quote. Payment may be required in full or in part before work commences, depending on the nature of the job.
5.2 Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. We currently accept bank transfer and other methods as agreed at the point of service.
5.3 Any out-of-pocket expenses incurred on your behalf (such as materials, parts, or supplies) will be passed on to you at cost, unless agreed otherwise in advance.
5.4 Late or failed payments may result in work being paused or suspended until payment is received.
5.5 DanielTems's coordination fee, where applicable, will be disclosed to you before work proceeds.
6. Cancellations and Changes
6.1 You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking by contacting us as soon as possible via phone or WhatsApp.
6.2 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee to cover the Tradesperson's time. Where applicable, this fee will be communicated to you at the point of booking.
6.3 If a Tradesperson is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, DanielTems will notify you promptly and endeavour to arrange an alternative at no additional cost.
6.4 DanielTems reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a service if the Tradesperson becomes unavailable, subject to giving you reasonable notice.
7. Client Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information when making a service request.
- You are responsible for ensuring that access to the property is available at the agreed time and that any relevant utilities (water, electricity) are accessible where required for the job.
- You must ensure the property is safe for the Tradesperson to work in. If a Tradesperson identifies a health or safety risk on-site, they may decline to proceed with work.
- You are responsible for safeguarding any valuables in your property. DanielTems and its Tradespeople accept no liability for the loss or damage of personal items not related to the scope of work.
- You must be aged 18 or over to use our services.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 DanielTems acts as a concierge coordinator and not as a direct service provider. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any single service request shall not exceed the coordination fee or deposit paid for that specific job.
8.2 We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of property value, or personal injury arising from work carried out by third-party Tradespeople.
8.3 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8.4 DanielTems does not accept responsibility for delays caused by factors outside of our reasonable control, including weather, unavailability of materials, or a Tradesperson's personal circumstances.
9. Complaints and Disputes
9.1 If you are unhappy with the service provided, please contact us immediately at customer@danieltems.com or via WhatsApp. We take all complaints seriously and will investigate promptly.
9.2 Where a job has been carried out to a substandard level, we will liaise with the Tradesperson on your behalf to arrange remedial work at no additional charge where this is reasonably within our control.
9.3 We aim to acknowledge any complaint within 2 business days and provide a resolution within 14 business days.
9.4 In the event that a complaint cannot be resolved directly, you retain your rights as a consumer under applicable UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
10. Third-Party Tradespeople and Service Providers
10.1 All Tradespeople in our network are independent contractors. They are responsible for their own tax obligations, insurance, qualifications, and compliance with applicable laws.
10.2 DanielTems carries out reasonable vetting of all Tradespeople before engaging them, but we do not guarantee that any Tradesperson holds any specific certification unless explicitly stated.
10.3 Any contract for the provision of trade services entered into as a result of DanielTems's coordination is a contract between you and the Tradesperson. DanielTems is not a party to that contract.
10.4 You should satisfy yourself that any Tradesperson is appropriately qualified to carry out the work before it begins.
